So here’s a first… I'm posting an image that is black & white WITH color (I'm cringing just typing that). Hopefully I'm not offending anyone by saying this, but I typically cannot stand this “look”. It was overused for so incredibly long that it became tacky and often times was misused (in my opinion). However, when I was editing these images there was one that I loved in color AND black & white. So I combined the two and totally liked it. I even texted the image to Andrew asking him if I was crazy (he knows how strongly I feel regarding images processed in this manner) and to my surprise, he liked it. So either we’re both losing our minds (we didn’t have coffee this morning so maybe that’s the issue?) or it actually does look good. What do you think? We won’t be offended if you don’t like it.

Now, onto the star of the show, Baby Liam! What a cutie! He is so sweet, calm and couldn’t possibly be more adorable. When we photograph a newborn, we usually have a baby who is asleep the entire time or awake for the entire session, but Liam gave us a little bit of both! It is such a rarity and so fun to photograph.
