We recently spent some time in Flagstaff, AZ. It was great to get out of the heat for a couple of days, give Norah the opportunity to play outside, visit with friends, and take some maternity photos! We ventured out to take pictures and our darling daughter decided that cooperating was not on her agenda. Even the bribe of a lollipop couldn’t get her to change her stance on participating. So… it was a frustrating afternoon, but we managed to get a few redeemable images. Later that week we experimented at home with some lace and I love the results. This was great for indoor Phoenix photos in the summer AND I didn’t have to deal with hair/make-up and still felt beautiful. So I’m pleased. We’ll try for a great family shot when there are four of us this Fall. Until then, at least we managed to get something redeemable and we got to visit Flag, which is always a treat! Thanks to Andrew for being patient, keeping me patient, and documenting this time in our lives.
Things are about to get a little crazy this August. Our response might be a little delayed with the arrival of our baby boy, but we’re still booking weddings and portraits starting in September (booking dates now!) and we’ll be taking on birth story clients with due dates in November and beyond!
