We recently stumbled upon an awesome location for portrait sessions. It has some really cool natural landscaping, industrial looking walls (i.e. a little graffiti) and a surprising amount of color. The only problem is that it is a wash near our house. If little hoodlums didn't graffiti the walls and break glass bottles down there it'd be perfect. In fact, I don't even mind the graffiti, but I'd really appreciate it if they'd be a little creative. What's the point of spray-painting "METH" onto a wall? Ugh! How do we convince clients to walk into a wash that is mostly beautiful with a few minor flaws? So far We've only used it for Heaven's senior portrait session and now for Norah's spring session (neither really had a choice). Maybe I'll pull the "trust us" line on someone soon. It really is very cool.
Anyway, these are some of the images we took of Norah in my new favorite spot. If only the little baby would share one of her glorious smiles with us during the session. Maybe next time...
This sounded like a great idea, but she just focused on the egg and then proceeded to stick in her mouth. It was worth a try...
Soooo tired!
Gorgeous yellow flowers and a cute baby! This was the only expression she'd give us when she looked anywhere near the camera. She can't be sick of it already, can she?

Carolyn A. - I LOVE these, Jo! The egg one makes me chuckle and I adore the one with daddy and daughter. Good work.
